Annual General Assembly 2025

Mark your calendar! Forests of the World calls for a general assembly on May 6, 2025.

Forests of the World invites you to the spring annual general meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The meeting will be held online, with the option to attend in person at our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen.

The annual general meeting sets the strategic framework for Forests of the World’s work, and we encourage as many members as possible to participate in the important discussions and decisions about the future and direction of the organization.

Please register by May 2, 2025, at generalforsamling@verdensskove.org. Please indicate if you plan to attend at one of the two office locations.

Submission of Proposals

Proposals must be sent by April 18, 2025, to Trine Didriksen at tmdidriksen@gmail.com.

Forest Friend of the Year

The voting for Forest Friend of the Year has been concluded: Sônia Guajajara is the Forest Friend of the Year for her efforts in forest conservation and the rights of indigenous peoples in Brazil.
