Who is Forests of the World?

A group of biology students founded the organisation in 1983 under the name The Rainforest Group Nepenthes. Since then, we have grown substantially and in 2011 we became Forests of the World. Today, we have nearly 6,000 members and since 2022 we have proudly been a Strategic Partner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark.
